Women in ISIS

The role of women in the radicalized group is minimalized as Shariah law promotes the role of the traditional home-maker. Because it is in the religious law, male ISIS members believe in establishing the mother, wife, and home-carer role for women involved in the movement, leaving little space for actual terrorist actions. However, many still use women as propaganda spreaders, in order to recruit more Western women (and people in general), as stated in Independent.  With more recruited women, ISIS members hope to expand their wanted Islamic state and have more people to care for them.
